Alberto Triola
With a degree in engineering and a comprehensive training course in the music and theatre industry, Alberto Triola is the new Superintendent and Artistic Director of La Toscanini.
Professionally trained through fourteen seasons at the Teatro alla Scala, he became known for the versatility of his theatrical experience, both in the managerial and artistic fields.
He has distinguished himself through significant experiences at the most important Italian theatres and festivals, such as the Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of the Two Worlds) in Spoleto, the Monteverdi Festival and the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, with seasons of recognised success and artistic programmes of appreciated cultural vitality, which often mark the elevation of new vocal, directing and conducting talents.
He was the general manager of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, president of the “Nino Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli and since 2010, he has been the Artistic Director of the Festival della Valle d’Itria. He has worked alongside names such as Paolo Arcà, Fabio Luisi, Giancarlo Menotti, Riccardo Muti, Marco Tutino, Roman Vlad and Alberto Zedda.
